Imo state governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha says he is willing to endorse his son-in-law to be the next governor of the state if he so wishes.

His son-in-law Uche Nwosu is married to the governor’s daughter Ulomma who is currently the chief of staff to the governor.

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sam Onwuemeodo, issuing a statement on behalf of the governor said the governor promised to endorse his son-in-law should he vie for the number position in the state.

“Uche Nwosu is hard working, and never gets tired. He is a very humble young man. Not proud. Not arrogant. So, power won’t enter his head.

“In spite of the position he occupies, you can’t see him quarrelling with anybody or maltreating anybody. He does not segregate anybody, whether from Orlu or Owerri or Okigwe zone. He relates with people enviously.

“I have checked him in and out; I have not found him wanting,” he said.
