Kaduna state governor Nasir El-Rufai says no other party can confront the ruling All Progressives Congress APC because the party is a 21st century miracle.

 

The governor was speaking yesterday in Ilorin the Kwara state capital, while delivering a public lecture at Al-Hikmah University titled: ‘Governing justly: Perspective from Far and Near with Lessons for Nigeria.’

 

He said the only thing that stands between the party and victory in the forthcoming 2019 elections was the internal crisis in it, which the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu led reconciliation committee will soon resolve.

 

“PDP is no longer a brand; APC has no opposition once the Tinubu resolves differences.

 

“More revelations concerning the PDP’s 16 years of alleged misrule would come to the fore before the 2019 general elections.

 

“We are a party that is just five years old. We are a miracle. We are truly a 21 Century miracle.

 

“A party that was formed a year to the elections and it ejected a party that had ruled for 16 years is a miracle.

 

He said the party was gearing up to claim more states in the coming polls.
