Ahead of the October 10 gubernatorial elections in Ondo state, the People’s Democratic Party PDP has appointed Oyo state governor Seyi Makinde to head the party’s campaign council.

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party on Wednesday named Makinde to head the 145 member council.

The council has all the state governors elected under the platform of the party.

This was contained in a notice released by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, in Abuja.

Zamfara State Governor Bello Mattawale was named the deputy chairman of the campaign council.
