Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin Records, took to Twitter to thank Starboy Wizkid after a cosign from the megastar propelled ‘Overdose’ to the top of Apple Music Nigeria’s top 100.

Don Jazzy, who isn’t afraid to heavily promote his artists’ songs, couldn’t contain his joy after a post about ‘Overdose’ on Wizkid’s Instagram story propelled the song to the top spot.

In a tweet accompanied by a screenshot of ‘Overdose’ at the top of Apple Music Nigeria’s top 100, the veteran producer thanked everyone who helped make the song a success.

Big Wiz gets a special shout out from the influential label boss for what he calls a timely cosign.

‘Overdose’ was released only two weeks ago and has received a positive response from listeners.

The single has been competing with other top releases for the top spot and it took a cosign from one of Africa’s biggest acts to help Don Jazzy and the Mavin’s acts achieved their goal.
