Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area, Ramotalai Akinlola-Hassan, has presented a N3.7 billion budget proposal.

The N3,710,260,885.63k budget is termed Budget of Transformation.

Council Chairman, Akinlola-Hassan, and others submitted the 2023 budget, saying if approved, it will enable her complete projects.

She assured residents and stakeholders that her administration will prioritise primary education, improved health care, youth and women empowerment, and others.

While expressing her appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the ongoing construction of Mumuni Adio Badmus Road and other roads, Hon Akinlola-Hassan solicited for the continued support of the elected councillors in 2023, to enable her administration provide more dividend of democracy to the people

She laid emphasis on the need for all stakeholders in the council, particularly the council’s revenue officials to work assiduously towards improving the internally generated revenue profile of the council in the new year and beyond.
