Festus Keyamo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has submitted a petition to the Department of State Services (DSS), seeking action against Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.
Keyamo who revealed the latest move on his official Twitter account on Thursday wants the security agency to apprehend Obi and Baba-Ahmed over their recent utterances.
Obi who is challenging the 2023 presidential election results filed a petition to the election tribunal, contesting the electoral process and Bola Tinubu’s candidacy.

On his part, Baba-Ahmed stated that the case is more than just the above as it deals with a breach of the Nigerian constitution.
According to him, the certificate of return presented to Tinubu by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is a dud certificate as Nigeria has no President-elect at the moment.
Speaking on Twitter, Keyamo said Obi and Baba-Ahmed’s words “bother on incitement & treasonable felony”, issuing a subtle threat about a call for peace not amounting to weakness.
“Earlier today, I submitted a petition to the Dept. of State Services (DSS) against Mr Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed to rein them in for their conducts and utterances which bother on incitement & treasonable felony.
“A call for peace & national healing does not amount to weakness”, the post reads.
