Al Thani Summits New €5 Billion Bid For Manchester United

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani has submitted a new bid to buy Manchester United , with an estimated value of around Five billion pounds, according to reports.

Sheikh Jassim, who is the son of Qatar’s former prime minister, had previously launched a debt-free bid to buy the club through his Nine Two Foundation in February.

The report also states that Finnish entrepreneur Thomas Zilliacus submitted a bid on Thursday and expressed his willingness to pay a premium for the English football club.

Manchester United’s current owners, the Glazer family, began looking at options for the club in November, including new investment or a potential sale, after owning the club for 17 years.

The club has not yet responded to the recent bids. 

The Red Devils are one of the most successful football clubs in the world, with a huge fan base around the globe.

Their current value is estimated at around $3.05 billion, making them one of the most valuable football clubs in the world.
