The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has clinched majority seats in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, winning 22.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) won eight while the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) won one.
The breakdown is contained in a statement by Aliyu Shaba, Deputy Director Voter Education, of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Bauchi.
The constituencies and PDP winners: Zungur Galambi, Yusuf Ahmed; Dass, Abdullahi Ahmed; Bogoro, Musa Nakwada; Duguri Gwana, Abdullahi Dan-Bala; Kirfi, Umar Habibu; Bauchi, Jamilu Dahiri.
Ningi Bura, Tanko Bura; Hardawa Misau, Babayo Akuyam; Dambam Dagauda Jalam, Mohammed Garba; Lame Toro, Lawal Garba; Toro Jama’a, Saidu Hamza; Ningi, Abubakar Sulaiman.
The PDP also won Sakwa Zaki, Wanzam Mohammed; Itas Gadau, Abdullahi Yusuf; Ganjuwa East, Ladan Mohammed; Ganjuwa West, Adamu Kawu; Katagum Zaki, Bello Maiwa.
Hodi Jibir won Disina Shira; Shira, Hassan Auwal; Giade, Adamu Abubakar; Madara Chinade-Katagum, Ala Ahmed; Gamawa, Sarkin-Jadori Bello.
The APC won Azare Madangala Katagum, Saleh Zakariyya; Udubo Gamawa, Lele Mohammed; Pali Alkaleri, Garba Aminu; and Darazo, Sulaiman Darazo.
Dauda Lawal won Sade Darazo, Yahaya Maikudi, Chiroma Misau; Abdul Rishi, Lame Toro; Abdulrasheed Adamu, Lere Bula. NNPP’s Mubarak Haruna of NNPP won in Jama’are.
