The First Lady of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Fintiri, has felicitated Christians on the occasion of the 2023 Easter.

Hajiya Fintiri noted that the period is a time for for reflection of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

This was contained in a statement by Ishaya Bitrus, the media aide to the First Lady on Saturday.

“As you celebrate the Easter season, I bring you warm greetings and heartfelt wishes for a blessed and joyful holiday. 

“This is a time to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the hope and new life that his resurrection brings.

“As you continue to navigate through the challenges that confront us as a nation and as individuals, let you draw strength from the message of Easter. 

“Let you renew your faith and commitment to the values of love, sacrifice, and compassion that Jesus Christ exemplified,” the First Lady said.

She further urged the Christian faithfuls to reach out to those in need to share love and kindness as exemplified by Jesus Christ. 

“As you gather with your loved ones to celebrate this special occasion, may the joy and blessings of Easter fill your hearts and homes,” she added.
