A passenger on a domestic flight in South Korea created a moment of panic after opening an emergency exit door just minutes before the plane was due to land.
The incident occurred on Friday aboard an Asiana Airlines Airbus A321 aircraft, with the individual sitting next to the emergency exit taking the unexpected action.
As a result, a rush of air entered the cabin, causing passengers’ hair to whip about and some to experience breathing difficulties.
Following the incident, nine people were taken to the hospital for treatment due to breathing difficulties, but no major injuries or damage were reported.
The motive behind the passenger’s action remains unclear, and the airline has not provided any details regarding the individual’s identity.
The culprit was reportedly apprehended by the police.
