Maduka Okoye, a goalkeeper from Nigeria, is about to sign a season-long loan agreement with Serie A team Udinese.

After failing to make the first team at Sky Bet Championship club Watford previous season, Okoye is looking for a move elsewhere.

The 23-year-old made just two appearances for the Hornets after leaving Eredivisie team Sparta Rotterdam to join Watford last summer.

According to sources, the shot-stopper is now anticipated to play for Udinese during the 2023–24 season.

There will now be three Nigerians at the club, joining Kingsley Ehizibue and Isaac Success, who are already important players.

The same family is the owner of both Watford and Udinese.
