The gospel musician Joshua, who is also the son of Mike Bamiloye, the man who founded Mount Zion Drama Ministry, has cautioned Christians against becoming dependent on any sort of entertainment that “competes with God” in their hearts.

He claimed that fans of the reality television program Big Brother Naija are in “the same boat” as football fanatics and movie aficionados since it “contains immoral scenes and isn’t exactly productive.”

Football fans can only berate BBNaija watchers, according to Bamiloye, if they haven’t “skipped a fellowship over a hot match, or you haven’t been checking live scores during the service.”

“The fact remains that anything that competes with God in your heart is on the same boat, of course we know the show contains immoral material,” he stated on his Twitter account.
