Today, Saturday, the Senate is reviewing the final batch of ministerial nominees.

Today is also expected to see the confirmation of all 48 nominations.

The upper parliamentary Chamber, which was scheduled to begin its summer vacation by the end of July 2023, has deferred the vacation to guarantee that ministerial nominees are screened and confirmed before the annual hiatus begins.

According to the Order Paper containing the list of the most recent batch of nominees, which was posted on Saturday, the following individuals are awaiting screening and confirmation.

Bosun Tijani – Ogun

Dr Isiak Salako – Ogun

Dr Tahir Mamman – Adamawa

Uba Maigari Ahmadu – Tarabara

Dr. Mariya Mahmoud – Kano
