Pete Edochie, a veteran Nollywood actor, has observed that the bulk of the women counseling his daughter-in-law, May Edochie, come from unhappy households.

Pete mentioned this in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, a media personality.

For the first time, Pete addressed his son, Yul Edochie’s, marital dilemma, stating that it was tough convincing May that he was not a party to Yul’s second marriage decision.

“A lot of people have been advising May wrongly. trying to see if they can asunder the link between her and her husband.

“Most of these women advising her don’t have good homes, they don’t. But again, you know things like this happen and it’s so difficult to convince her that you’re not part of it,” he said.

Yul had in April 2022, in a post on his Instagram page announced his second marriage with actress Judy Austin.
