Thomas Tuchel of Bayern Munich has begun negotiations to bring in Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
When Kepa was a Chelsea player in the past, Tuchel was his coach.
Bayern Munich, which just traded Yann Sommer to Inter Milan, has made the acquisition of a new goalkeeper one of their main priority this summer.
Bayern Munich’s first-choice goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer is still not close to returning after breaking his leg during a trip last December.
The Bundesliga champions held talks with Brentford keeper David Raya but the Spain international is now close to joining Arsenal after the Premier League club agreed a £30million deal for the goalkeeper’s signature on Tuesday.
As a result, Bayern are now searching for alternatives and according to Sport1, the Bavarians have begun ‘initial talks’ with Chelsea over the possibility of signing Kepa this summer transfer window.
