In the Edo State local government election held on Saturday, the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, won in all 18 Local Government Areas.

According to Channels Television, the state independent electoral commission’s results showed that the PDP won handily in every local government area in the State.

Every local government area in the state held elections on Saturday.

The Labour Party, LP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, are two other significant political parties that ran candidates in the election for Chairmanship and Councillorship of all the wards.

The APC and the LP have not yet made an official announcement regarding the election’s results as of the time this story was filed.
