The decision of the National and State House of Assembly Election Tribunal in Asaba, Delta State, has been overturned by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Ndudi Elumelu was proclaimed the victor of the 2023 election for the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency of Delta State, according to DAILY POST.

However, in a decision on Thursday, the appellate court upheld Ngozi Okolie, a candidate for the Labour Party (LP), as the legitimately elected lawmaker.
