Under the youngsters Transformation Training Scheme (YTTS) of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), around 37 youngsters have started a six-month entrepreneurship skills training in Enugu State.

The NDE Director-General (D-G), Mallam Abubakar Fikpo, stated this at the beginning of the training in Enugu on Monday, highlighting the need of providing the participants with the knowledge and abilities necessary to become independent.

The participants will receive training in event planning, POP creation, and tiling, according to Eugene Agu, the NDE Coordinator in Enugu State and a representative of Fikpo.

He named more talents in the training package, such as installing satellite dishes, designing clothes, installing inverters, and fixing cell phones, among others.

“We are developing talented workers in both rural and urban regions, and our goal is to see them go into business for themselves and open up jobs for others.

“At NDE, we prioritize lowering poverty and unemployment. Crime will decrease as soon as these two do, he claimed.
