The Navi Mumbai police have launched a second significant operation in the last six weeks on drug sales in the area.

The NRI police conducted raids at 12 places in sectors 3, 5, 18, 24 and 25 of the Ulwe node based on information they had about the selling of drugs there. They also arrested the accused Nigerian.

In Onyekachukwu, the police seized 95 grams of cocaine worth $14.25 lakh and 706 kilos of mephedrone narcotics worth $70.6 lakh.
