According to the Minister of Works, Engr David Umahi, on Thursday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved more than 260 road repair interventions throughout the 36 states of the country and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
President Tinubu revealed this to media after meeting with them in his office at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

He said that the Third Mainland Bridge’s resurfacing, the construction of the Lekki deep seaport road, the restoration of two collapsed Enugu bridges, and the reconstruction of two Onitsha-Owerri Road locations had all received the President’s assent.
The improvement of the current Abuja-Keffi-Akwanga-Lafia route and the dualization of the Lafia by-pass are two more roads whose construction has been approved.
The minister added that to expedite road maintenance across the country, President Tinubu authorised the reorganisation of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) Board.
