At Emirates Stadium on Saturday, Arsenal crushed Sheffield United 5-0 thanks to a goal from Eddie Nketiah, who recorded his first Premier League hat-trick.
On minute 28, the forward for England opened scoring when he skillfully received a threaded ball from Declan Rice behind his back and slotted it in.
Five minutes into the second half, he doubled the lead with a close-range effort that struck the net’s roof. To complete his hat-trick, he then fired a 25-yard shot into the top corner.
Substitute Fabio Vieira made it 4-0 from the spot late on after VAR adjudged Oliver Norwood to have fouled him inside the area.
Takehiro Tomiyasu, a second half substitute, also got in on the act when he poked home from a corner in stoppage time to round off the scoring.
Victory extended Arsenal’s unbeaten start to the season and lifted them up to second in the table, two points behind north London rivals Tottenham, while the Blades are bottom with only a lone point after 10 matches.
