The Industrial Training Fund (IT) was given a 48-hour deadline by the House of Representatives to provide an explanation of the whereabouts of the N3 billion that were linked to it in the 2022 report of the Auditor General of the Federation.

As they continued their hearing on the Fiscal Strategy Paper and the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework, the MPs issued the ultimatum.

 

 

The Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, James Abiodun Faleke, who presided over an interactive session with some Heads of Federal Government agencies, gave the charge at the National Assembly Complex.

Falake also directed the Nigerian Communications Commission to explain how it spent N291 billion in 2022 on broadband across the country, with services still not up to standards.
