In the EURO 2024 qualifying match, Portugal’s talisman forward Cristiano Ronaldo led his team to a convincing 0-2 victory away to Liechtenstein.

The Portuguese national team was under no pressure at all, as they were already leading their group, which included Luxembourg, Iceland, Slovakia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and had a spot in EURO 2024 confirmed.

With the goalie easily beaten, Ronaldo scored a brilliant goal into the upper (right) corner of the goal in the 47th minute of play to give Portugal the lead on the road.

Ronaldo was assisted owing to a through ball from Liverpool star Diogo Jota.

The home side would yet again concede again as Joao Cancelo rounded the keeper and slotted in aplomb the second goal to make it 2-0 for Portugal.

Cancelo scored to wrap things up for Portugal in the 57th minute of the contest.
