After fulfilling their bail requirements, singer Azeez Fashola, better known by his stage name Naira Marley, and his close friend Samson Erinfolami Balogun, better known by his stage name Sam Larry, were released by the Lagos State Police Command.

 

On November 17, a Friday night, both men were free. Remember that on Monday, November 6, 2023, a Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos State, granted the two bail in the amount of N20 million with three accountable responsibilities.

 

After Mohbad, a previous signee of Naira Marley, passed away on September 12 under dubious circumstances, both men were taken into custody and charged in court.

 

 

On November 6, the court granted them bail. The magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, told the defendants to submit their passports and ordered that they are to report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
