The NSCDC finds and destroys illicit crude oil warehouses (PHOTOS)

In two different operations carried out throughout Imo State, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) discovered illicit crude oil warehouses and captured two suspects.

On Sunday, the NSCDC posted pictures highlighting the effective enforcement actions along with information about these operations on its official Facebook page.

 

The post reads in part: “Intensifying the war against economic saboteurs: The CG SIS arrests two suspected economic saboteurs and impounds one Toyota Sequoia jeep loaded with over 5,000 litres of suspected adulterated AGO at Abacheke of Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State.”

Additionally, NSCDC revealed that during the operations, two illegal crude oil warehouses located in a dense forest in Izorsu community of Oguta II Local Government Area and Umuofor community of Oguta Local Government Area in Imo State were discovered and subsequently destroyed.
