Ivory Coast is undefeated in the World Cup qualifying campaign.

With a goal in every half against the lowly African team Gambia, Ivory Coast won their second straight World Cup qualifier on the continent.

They resumed their winning ways after defeating Seychelles 9-0 in Abidjan last week. Christian Kouame gave them the lead in the first half of the match, making it 1-0.

And thanks to the skill of former Chelsea star Jeremie Boga, Franck Kessie, and Brighton winger Simon Adingraβ€”who recently scored against Ajax in the Europa Leagueβ€”the visitors were able to secure a 0-2 victory away against Gambia.

The second goal came in the 85th minute following a delightful effort from Seko Fofana.

With the 0-2 win over Gambia, Ivory Coast now have six points from a possible six and have scored a total of 9+2- 11 goals in two goals. An incredible feat at this stage and the highest on the African continent in the space of two games.
