The late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, had an autopsy two months ago. However, the Lagos State Police Command has now disclosed that it has not yet received the report of the investigation.

After the circumstances surrounding that tragic incident caused controversy both inside and outside of Nigeria, Mohbad’s body was excavated to determine the cause of his death.

In September, Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s public relations officer, announced that the autopsy had taken place and the results were being awaited.

Hundeyin, in responding to a question on the report of Mohbad’s autopsy, stated that the command had not officially received the report.

The PRO who debunked rumours around the report stated; ” It’s one thing for it to be ready, it’s another thing for it to be given to us officially”

Hundeyin said; “The autopsy report has not been given to us. Some people have been carrying rumours that it’s ready.

“It’s one thing for it to be ready, it’s another thing for it to be given to us officially – that we would receive and sign a copy that we have received it. So, we don’t work with rumours, we work with facts.”
