Manchester United’s chances of advancing to the UEFA Champions League round of 16 were severely damaged on Wednesday after they were drawn 3–3 against Galatasaray in Group A.

United surrendered a two-goal lead to the Turkish giants to settle for a share of the spoils.

The draw means United are bottom in the group on four points.

The Red Devils now need to defeat Bayern Munich in their last group match and hope that the outcome between Galatasaray and Copenhagen goes their way.

Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes gave United a 2-0 lead in the 11th and 18th minutes, respectively.

On minute 29, Hakim Ziyech, a former Chelsea forward, gave Galatasaray a 2-1 lead.

Ten minutes into the second half, Scott McTominay gives United their two-goal advantage back.

Ziyech got his second goal on 62 minutes to bring the scoreline to 3-2 before on 71 minutes substitute Kerem Akturkoglu drew Galatasaray level at 3-3.

In Spain, PSV edged Sevilla in a dramatic 3-2 comeback win in Group B.

Sevilla were close to securing the win but PSV fought back to claim the win and brighten their chances of a round of 16 qualification.
