Girona has been impressive all season long as they thrashed top Spanish side Sevilla 5-1 on Sunday night in La Liga Santander.

 

However, it was the visiting Sevilla side that took the lead thanks to a goal from Isaac Romero Bernal in the 10th minute of the match.

 

He was assisted by Adria Predrosa. The home side now equalized through a goal from Artem Dovbyk in the 13th minute thanks to an assist from Savio.

 

Star striker Dovbyk made it 2-1 as he netted again in the 15th minute following an assist from Christian Portu.

 

Artem Dovbyk grabbed his hat-trick and his side third goal of the match as he scored in the 19th minute courtesy of an assist from Yan Couto.

 

After the restart, Viktor Tsygankov scored in the 56th minute to make it 4-1.Savio assisted the goal.

 

Then Christian Stuani would make it 5-1 towards the end of the match as he scored in the 89th minute to seal a comfortable win against Sevilla in the La Liga affair at home.
