Arsenal striker, Bukayo Saka has withdrawn from the England squad due to an unspecified injury.

 

For Arsenal this season, Saka has been in excellent form as they lead the Premier League and get ready to play Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinals.

 

However, the 22-year-old will miss England’s final two friendlies against Brazil on Saturday and Belgium on Tuesday.

 

The Football Association in a statement said, “Bukayo Saka has left the England camp and returned to his club for continued rehabilitation”.

 

They further confirmed that Bukayo Saka reported to training with an injury and has been unable to participate in training with the team.

 

Although no planned replacement for the striker has been made, it is confirmed that the 25-man squad will continue their preparations for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.
