Spanish giants, Real Madrid have defeated German side, Bayern Munich to make it to the Champions League final for the 15th time.

 

In a fiercely contested second-leg match, Real Madrid managed to secure a 2-1 win over Bayern Munich after full-time

 

Despite losing some minutes into the second half, Madrid persevered and produced a stunning Champions League comeback.

 

Bayern Munich left-back, Alphonso Davies gave Bayern the lead in the 68th minute which they were only able to hold until the 88th minute.

 

In a dramatic twist, Real Madrid striker, Joselu became Madrid’s hero as he scored a brace in less than four minutes – in the 88th minute and 1 minute into extra time.

 

Real Madrid will meet Borussia Dortmund for the Champions League final on June 1, 2024.
