2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Super Eagles Begin Training With 15 Players

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have officially begun training ahead of their World Cup 2026 qualifying match against South Africa and Benin Republic.

 

The players already in camp include Stanley Nwabali, Kenneth Igboke, Ismail Sodiq, Olorunleke Ojo, Benjamin Tanimu, Ibrahim Olawoyin, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Terem Moffi.

 

Others are Frank Onyeka, Alhassan Yusuf, Victor Boniface, Samuel Chukwueze, Chidozie Awaziem, and Raphael Onyedika.

 

Some players who are yet to arrive at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo include Ademola Lookman, Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Paul Onuachu, Alex Iwobi and Maduka Okoye.

 

The Super Eagles will play against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a World Cup qualifying match at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo, Nigeria on June 7,

 

The team will travel to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire for a match against Benin Republic on June 10.
