When Afrobeats meets Amapiano, we all can attest to the fact that the outcome is incredible, and this time, we have Nigerian hit makers Shallipopi and Lojay jumping on the remix of the monster hit ‘Mnike’!

 

In a video that has now gone viral on social media, the remix of ‘Mnike’ was previewed at a popular nightclub in Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

 

The original song was recorded by South African music heavyweights Tyler ICU, Dj Maphorisa, Tumelo Za, Nandipha808, Ceeka RSA, and Tyrondee and released in 2023.

 

 

‘Mnike’ rose to the top of various charts and quickly became a TikTok sensation with corresponding dance moves to complement the catchy Amapiano tune.

With popular Nigerian singers Lojay and Shallipopi jumping on the remix, the hit song will further expand its popularity in Nigeria and beyond, hence, becoming a household favourite!

 

 

This would be the second time in a few weeks a Nigerian singer has hopped on a viral Amapiano hit since Burna Boy’s appearance on the remix of ‘Tshwala Bam’.
