A hospital in Gaza has reported that the death toll from an Israeli airstrike on a UN school has risen to 37.

 

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Deir al-Balah updated the earlier figure from 27, which was provided by the Hamas media office.

 

According to the Israeli military, the airstrike targeted a Hamas compound embedded within a UNRWA school in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza.

 

A medic at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said another Israeli strike during the night on a house in Nuseirat refugee camp killed six people and wounded several more.
