Nigerian singer, Wizkid is remembering his dear mother today, July 4, 2024, which marks her posthumous birthday.

The Grammy award-winning singer took to his official X (formerly known as Twitter) to send his birthday wishes to his mum who passed on last year.

Wizkid wrote, “ Happy birthday love of my life. Miss you every day. first one without you here feels unreal. Nothing makes sense without you mama. Life is empty without you. Continue to watch over us. My heart is broken forever. Love you love love love you MORAYO mi. Your smile is all a memory. Your laughs, your hugs and kisses. I miss you dearly“.

The singer ended his birthday wish to his mum by sending his love to all his fans, who have lost their mother or their loved ones.

Wizkid is set to drop an album named after his late mother, “Morayo”. He refers to the upcoming album as “the best I ever made”.
