Music sensation, Davido, has shed light on his instrumental role in bringing together British-Nigerian producer Maleek Berry and fellow Afrobeat superstar Wizkid.

In a revealing interview on the +44 podcast show, the afrobeat superstar reminisced about his time in London, where he first met Maleek Berry and later introduced him to Wizkid, facilitating a collaborative relationship between the two artists.

He said: “The first place I went to when I ran from home was London. London is like a second home for me. I am the first to know Maleek Berry, I introduced Maleek Berry to Wizkid. From there, I came back to Nigeria.”
