Speaking at the event, the outgoing DG Rita Ifeyinwa Ejezie said: “I inherited a good district from my predecessors and I’m leaving behind a better district for my successors. Last week we were here to install Dr Oluwole Kukoyi for District 9111 and today again I am here to install Rotarian Olufemi for District 9112, it only talks about growth. It shows how far District 9110 has come to the extent that we have birthed two new districts that have hit the ground running.”

Congratulating the newly installed DG, Ejezie said: “I wish you well into the Rotary year As I hand over the baton of leadership of this new District to our Pioneer District Governor Olufemi.”

I request that all seated here today including the guests and friends of Rotary give him the desired support just like I got a very good support. I wish that you all will be on the ground to support him to achieve greater success than what we did for the last Rotary year.”

According to the chairman of the event, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, this installation marks the beginning of what will turn out to be a memorable rotary year 2024-2025. The Rotary has a record of doing good. Earlier this week, the Rotary Club of Palm groove distributed disease control materials to 100 pregnant women and 150 nursing mothers.
