Job Description

DelonJobs is looking to hire a Head of Sales, Private Wealth for a leading insurance company in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate would be responsible for leading the assigned team in the generation of liabilities, sale & marketing of all private Wealth products and services in Lagos, acquisition of new clients, identification and conversion of business opportunities, reactivation of inactive relationships, ensuring increase in Share of Clients’ Wallet & client retention. The person will also develop and review strategies, plans and procedures for managing clients’ portfolios, whilst fully complying with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Interested candidates must possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized University (preferred; Finance Related) and a minimum of 8 to 12 years of working experience in a senior sales capacity. Relevant professional certification e.g. Chartered Wealth Management Courses, MBA, MSC will be an added advantage.

Interprets the data from a business perspective and uses BI tools to produce visualization reports and dashboards
Researches and employs new and more efficient data analysis methods and BI tools
Uses the data to represent the organization’s market positioning when compared to other companies
Formulates solutions based on data analysis and presents them to different levels of management and key business partners
Works with other departments and executives to make business decisions using the data found
Coordinates with the IT department to make the necessary software and hardware upgrades
Crafts and maintains documentation that details business process models and BI solutions
Pinpoints areas of the company’s existing revenue loss and suggests improvements that help increase profits or cut costs
Use BI tools to detect and monitor risks and audit for compliance controls
