On Saturday, October 5, 2024, a group of Nigerian and foreign students protested outside the Nigerian High Commission in London, calling on President Bola Tinubu to reverse his “anti-poor policies” and drop all charges against those arrested during the #EndBadGovernance protests.

The demonstration was organized by a group of socialist students under the banner of ‘Fight for Socialism’.

The protesters who comprised Black and White students displayed placards with inscriptions such as “Drop all charges and release protesters” and “Reverse all anti-poor policies.”
