Atalanta has commended Ademola Olajade Lookman, Super Eagles forward , for finishing 14th in the 2024 men’s Ballon d’Or.

Lookman, who was the only African who made the 30-man shortlist, was announced as the 14th best player by France Football.

The Super Eagles star was present at the award ceremony which took place in Paris, France on Monday.

“14th place for Mola: proud of you Ade .”

Lookman was impressive for both club and country hence his nomination for the prestigious award.

His hat-trick in the final of the Europa League helped Atalanta to a 3-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen.

Also, he helped the Eagles reach the final of the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.

Meanwhile, Lookman is in the running for the CAF Player of the Year award.
