Reports reaching ipledge2nigeria indicates that there was an attack on a Benue community in the early hours of Tuesday (2nd January).
According to a resident who spoke anonymously to ipledge2nigeria on phone, several persons are feared to have been killed after suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked Tse Igbudu Taraka community of the state.
The latest attack has forced many residents to leave their homes.
Efforts by ipledge2nigeria to reach the Benue state police PRO Moses Yamu proved abortive as at the time of filing this reports.
