ALL Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Council has called on Nigerians to reject the desperation of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to return to power, saying the party destroyed the country in its 16 years of bad governance

A statement by National Director-General, Seyi Bamigbade, noted that PDP presided in the season of oil boom ‘yet recklessly looted the nation

Bamigbade said PDP is insulting the electorate by seeking to govern people they impoverished.

He urged people not to forget PDP failed to better the lot of Nigerians despite abundant resources at their disposal.

The statement reads: “Nigerians understand the bond of corruption tying PDP which did not allow it to perform for 16 years. We have not forgotten how it plundered our country and fed fat from our patrimony for which some are still providing answers today.

“Nigerians rejected them in 2015 and 2019, and will still do same in 2023. PDP has nothing to offer, they should ask for forgiveness instead of asking for our mandate again.”
