The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar got the most votes ahead ofΒ the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his polling unit.
Atiku emerged victorious over Tinubu and other presidential candidates in the election at his polling unit in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa state.
The Presiding Officer (PO) at the polling unit announced the result on Saturday afternoon.
He announced that Atiku scored a total of 282 votes while Tinubu of APC scored 57 votes.
Meanwhile, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) scored 6 votes while Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) scored 1 vote.Β
