A N15 billion budget has been disclosed by the federal government for the restoration of Lagos State’s Third Mainland Bridge.
This was revealed by the government through information from the recently approved N2.18 trillion 2023 supplemental budget, which also revealed that N11.4 billion is outstanding to the contractors of the Eko/Marine Bridges.
Olukorede Kesha, the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, made the announcement in a statement, saying that the bridge will be closed for five weeks starting on Monday, November 6, 2023, for repairs.
Given the above, the motoring public is now notified that the repair works will commence with the ramps connecting Oworoshoki to Adekunle and Lagos-Island (Adeniji Adele) to Adekunle simultaneously.
“Consequently, the two ramps mentioned above will be closed to traffic by 7 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023, for five weeks”, part of the statement reads
