Mayorkun, a Nigerian singer, has thrilled his fans with the official music video for his most recent song, “Lowkey.”

Renowned cinematographer Dammy Twitch shot and directed the music video at a dam in Suleja, Abuja.

Fireboy DML contributed backup vocals to the song “Lowkey.”

The artist, whose real name is Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, disclosed on the Big Friday Show alongside reality personality Tacha that he had constantly referred to his music as Afrofusion in previous interviews.

Mayorkun clarified that he chose the term ‘Afrofusion’ because he believes he can make any kind of song.

He mentioned that he added Afro because his music possesses an inherent African essence and he incorporates diverse influences and flavours into his music, which can range from reggae to other genres.
