Nigerian musician Tems has returned to the music arena with a fantastic song called “Me & U,” following a two-year absence.
“Me & U,” which she co-produced with Ghanaian DJ GuiltyBeatz, is her first solo release since the highly regarded EP “If Orange Was A Place.”
The song video, which was exquisitely shot in Malta’s scenic backdrop, was also directed by Tems.
Her creative development and a more thorough examination of her own identity and spirituality are evident in the most recent publication.
“Me & U” is about finding the actual me, developing a sincere relationship with the Creator, and obtaining a true sense of self, according to Tems.
Tems has lately worked with global icons like Beyoncé on “Renaissance” and contributed to Future’s “Wait For U,” which features a sample of her 2020 hit song “Higher,” in addition to her solo efforts.
She received a Grammy Award in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category for her work on “Wait For U.”
Tems’ extraordinary ability has not stopped winning her awards; in recognition of her efforts to the music industry, she was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
