Star forward Sadio Mane inspired his team with a brace as Senegal kicked off the World Cup Qualifiers on the African continent.

In order to earn the most points possible, the Teranga Lions of Senegal were predicted to win the game.

Senegal led 1-0 after Pape Matar Sarr scored the first goal of the match, opening the floodgates for scores.

Five minutes later Sadio Mane would get on the score sheet to make it 2-0 to the delight of the home fans.

The home side was 3-0 to the good thanks to a goal from Lamina Camara at the stroke of half time (45 minutes) to make it 3-0.

In the second half, Senegal sought for the fourth goal of the match but it all paid off in the 57th minutes as Sadio Mane notched his brace to seal a convincing 4-0 win over African minnows South Sudan.
