France dropped their first points in the EURO 2024 qualifiers, finishing above the Netherlands in the Group B standings after being held to a 2-2 draw in Greece.

France, the visiting team, dominated play throughout the match, although they didn’t take a 1-0 lead until the 42nd minute.

France’s goal was scored by Randal Kolo Muani. At the half, France had won 0–1. But Tasos Bakasetas’ strike in the 56th minute after the half gave the home team, Greece, a one-goal advantage.

Fotis Ioannidis’ goal gave Greece a startling lead in the 61st minute, making it 2-1 at home.

But thanks to a brilliant assist from forward Kylian Mbappe, who set up Youssouf Fofana for the equalizer, the former World Champions would come back to play like the dominant team they really are and draw even.
