“Upon reflecting on the interview, I realize that my words were not articulated in a way that conveyed my true intentions and have been misconstrued as insensitive, particularly towards Mrs. May Edochie”, Yvonne wrote.
“I deeply regret that my comments were perceived as adding to her distress. It was never my intention to cause any pain or disrespect. I am truly sorry”.
Recall that while sitting in as a guest on “The Honest Bunch” podcast, Yvonne Jegede addressed a series of topics including the reason for the divorce from her husband, Olakunle Fawole.
However, the actress got a lot of negative reactions from the media and the public when she dropped her two cents on the controversial separation between actor Yul Edochie and his estranged May Edochie.
“99% of people that are abusing him on the internet are from second wives and third wives and fourth wives. Let’s just stop being silly on the internet”, Yvonne Jeged said on the podcast:
“I don’t see anything he’s done wrong. I know they’ll drag me for this opinion but let’s stop being silly”, she added.
This opinion has stirred a lot of controversy on social media, with people calling out the actress for being insensitive and insulting to May Edochie.
