Turkish businessman, Dursun Özbek has revealed that the club will decide on Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen‘s future at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has made a big impression at the Turkish Super Lig champions following his arrival on loan from Napoli in the summer.
The forward has registered four goals and three assists in seven appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray.
There have been discussions about the Yellow and Reds potentially signing the Nigeria international on a permanent transfer at the end of the current season.
Özbek, however, said such talks will however wait until next summer.
“The Galatasaray football team is having a successful season. Victor Osimhen is our player this season, and his performance is also good,” Özbek was quoted by haberaktuel.com.
“We have time ahead of us for the future structuring of Galatasaray; we will take it into consideration then. As the board of directors, we want to please the Galatasaray community, and no one should forget that we are focused on success.
“Galatasaray is on the path to success. Galatasaray will take its own position into consideration. It would be useless to talk about these issues today. Osimhen is a very important player; we are very happy to have him watched by Turkey.”
